Fitzpatrick, Zimmerman & Rose was founded by two law school classmates, Francis G. Fitzpatrick (Right) and Donald W. Zimmerman (Left). Both returned to New Philadelphia after law school and military service to practice law together, found our firm, and serve the community in various capacities, including law directorships, legal counsel to various government agencies and boards, and devotion to civic and charitable organizations. Frank and Don both retired after a combined 110 years of exemplary service to their clients.
In 1951, Francis G. Fitzpatrick and Donald W. Zimmerman founded the firm, then known as Fitzpatrick & Zimmerman. The law office was originally located on Court Street, above the old Peoples Bank Building in downtown New Philadelphia, Ohio. From these humble beginnings the firm has grown to include five respected and experienced attorneys and a well-qualified support staff. The firm currently maintains offices in New Philadelphia and Sugarcreek, Ohio.
